You will be an integral part of an administration team working on a variety of marketing projects and submissions. The position will be within our Edinburgh office situated at Rosewell House, 2A Harvest Drive, Newbridge, Edinburgh.

Key Tasks

  • Production of marketing materials and literature.
  • Produce bid and submission documents.
  • To develop and manage the organisation’s photography library.
  • To monitor competitor activity.
  • To monitor industry activity.
  • To managing RSP’s social media channels, keeping a record of and reporting on weekly statistics and updating online directories.
  • To write web content, copy and news releases with direction from Partners and Directors.
  • To create and update web pages, as required, through a content management system.
  • General marketing administration tasks and liaise with staff across the business as required.

Skills/Experience: 

  • Educated to degree level in Marketing or associated discipline.
  • Previous experience in a Marketing role desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in Adobe Indesign software.
  • Experienced in using Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven planning and organisation skills.
  • Good attention to detail (Proof reading, spelling and grammar etc).
  • Good eye for design.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload.
  • Self-motivated with ability to take initiative.
  • Knowledge of Social Media for business.

  • Act as project leader responsible for the electrical services design development in accordance with project objectives.
  • Work competently on an independent basis or as part of a wider team and be responsible for reporting to senior management.
  • Communicate directly with clients and other design team members, including attendance at meetings.
  • Undertake the preparation on complex calculations and comprehensive design associated with M&E Building installations.
  • Be responsible for the technical and financial (where applicable) reporting proposals to suit project needs.
  • Manage resources, workload and support a team of M&E senior engineers, engineers and technicians (including verification of design and quality).
  • Prepare and take responsibility for the complete engineering solutions design from conception to delivery.
  • Prepare technical reports, documents and specifications.
  • Assist in the set up and management including planning and monitoring job resourcing/expenditure.
  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with clients.
  • Be actively involved in compliance with RSP Business Management Systems.
  • Assist in the continued development of others within the Practice.
